Ah, Fall!

I love fall--it's my absolute favorite season.  The smells, the flavors, the sitting inside by a fire in sweats reading a book while it rains drearily outside...

Right now, we northeast Kansans are getting our allotted 2 weeks of beautiful weather.  You know, we say that we really have two seasons: hot and cold, with a few days of nice in between.

Last week, Thad and I took the opportunity at lunch to enjoy some of this fabulous weather and recharge.  Nothing exciting, just sitting quietly in the car with the windows down, enjoying the feeling that everything's right in our little world.  Isn't that sky beautiful?
